Job Summary:
- To perform duties of diagnosis and management of patients attending the ENT outpatients department.
- To perform ENT surgical procedures and be responsible for care of these patients preoperatively and post operatively.
- To supervise and monitor work done by specialists and registrars.
- To follow and implement rules set by medical administration for control of work system.
Job Function:
- The physician will be in charge of diagnosing and treating illness injury, and disease. He/She performs examinations and tests, prescribe medicines and treatments, perform surgeries and related procedures, decide and implement plan of care and conduct life saving procedures. Depending on their area of specialty, physicians work with patients from various age groups and patient populations.
- The physician has to be accountable for the maintenance of the professional standards within the scope of service that set and monitored by Chief Medical Officer.
- The physician has to follow and implement the departmental clinical practice guidelines and clinical pathways as set by the head of the department.
- The physician must be dedicated to a lifetime of continuing education in order to meet the changing health care profession’s needs.

(Physicians, Nurses, Paramedical, and supporting staff)

Education and Work Experience/Qualifications:
1. Fellow ship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons-UK
2. Membership of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons-UK
3. American Board,Canadian Board,European Board in Otolaryngology; or
4. Egyptian Medical Doctorate
Experience:
At least eight years or more experience after the above mentioned degrees in ENT , preferably with residency or clinical attachment in a recognized western country.
